Clear Vision Starts with Consistent Care

Your eyes change over time, and so do your vision needs. Whether you’re noticing small changes or just due for your regular checkup, routine eye exams are one of the most important steps you can take to protect your sight, your independence, and your overall health.

At Eyesight Medical Center, we provide comprehensive adult eye exams tailored to your age, lifestyle, and vision goals. It’s more than just a vision test.  It’s peace of mind and a step toward seeing life clearly.

Why Regular Eye Exams Matter

As we age, our eyes naturally go through changes. Some of these changes are normal and expected, while others, like cataracts, glaucoma, or diabetic eye disease, can sneak up without warning.

An annual or biannual eye exam can identify these conditions early, often before you notice any symptoms, so we can begin treatment and preserve your quality of life.

Common Vision Changes in Adulthood:

Trouble reading small print (especially after age 40)
Increased light sensitivity
Blurry vision, especially at night
Frequent changes in your glasses or contact lens prescription
Eye strain from screen use
Difficulty adjusting to glare or darkness

These changes are normal, but they don’t have to interfere with your life. A comprehensive exam can help pinpoint the cause and offer solutions that fit your lifestyle.

What’s Included in an Adult Eye Exam?

At Eyesight Medical Center, we don’t rush you in and out. We take the time to get to know you and your eyes, using advanced tools and a personalized approach to ensure we understand your full visual health.

Your exam may include:

Visual acuity testing (how well you see at various distances)
Refraction (to determine your glasses or contact lens prescription)
Eye pressure testing (to screen for glaucoma)
Retinal imaging (to detect early signs of disease)
Evaluation for cataracts, dry eye, or macular degeneration
Discussion of symptoms, lifestyle needs, and eye health goals

If you wear contact lenses or are interested in trying them, we also offer specialized contact lens fittings to ensure comfort and clarity.

Helping You See and Live Better

If vision problems have been causing issues in your life, a simple eye exam could be the first step to getting your confidence, independence, and clarity back. Whether you’re working, driving, reading, or exploring the outdoors, sharp, comfortable vision makes everything easier, and more enjoyable.

And if you haven’t noticed any changes? That’s even better. Preventive care can keep your eyes healthy and your vision strong for years to come.

How Often Should Adults Get an Eye Exam?

Ages 18–39: Every 1–2 years
Ages 40–64: Every 1–2 years, or as recommended
Ages 65+: Annually, due to higher risk of age-related eye conditions

If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, or a family history of eye disease, we may recommend more frequent visits.
